Working with Peterborough Citizens, we travelled to Westminster to attend a summit attended by Angela Rayner who is now our Deputy Prime Minister! We asked for improvements in the housing in Peterborough.

There are at least 168,000 children currently living in temporary accommodation in the UK. We campaigned for the next UK Government to set a time-limit on temporary accommodation for households with children, and to improve and enforce the standard of temporary accommodation. We asked them to pledge to end child homelessness for good. 

Daniela Gomes (Year 9) and Kason Narciso (Year 7) have both shown outstanding compassion and commitment throughout this campaign. They took to the stage in front of 2000 people to deliver their speech asking for change, using courage and demonstrating confidence. TDA Junior students delivered a faultless drama performance too!
