The recent Oundle Festival of Music and Drama resulted in a clutch of awards for Thomas Deacon Academy students. This prestigious Festival is presided over by The Lady Brassey and first took place in 1909. It is affiliated to the British & International Federation of Festivals and ran 147 different classes over three days at Oundle School and St. Peters Church Oundle culminating in a concert celebrating the competition winners on the 23rd April.

Nine TDA Gold Duke of Edinburgh students who recently returned from St. James Palace in London after a Royal Appointment with the Duke of Edinburgh. The students received their Awards from the Duke of Edinburgh himself. A fantastic day for all students and their families. A fitting reward for their dedication to the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme over the past few years. Congratulations to all.
A small group of inspiring future scientist, medics and engineers were invited to attend the STEMnet Conference hosted by Hampton College.
Students and parents were invited to attend a special achievement presentation following the completion of an unique project sponsored by Her Majesty's Passport Office as part of their Certificate of Personal Effectiveness study.
